A strong, balanced and able body is hidden in all of us. The pressures and anxieties of everyday life keep us from using it as nature intended. The Only Connect (OC) approach to health and fitness is about discovering that natural state of being by training the mind and body together.

How do we do this?

We take an integrated approach to exercise. Working individual muscle groups increases imbalances in the body. At OC Fitness we train your body as a complete unit. This takes a lot of focus so the mind has to come along for the ride. The result is seriously effective training, using more muscles more of the time. And the ultimate outcome is correct posture and movement in everyday life.

Our training philosophy

Our training philosophy is based on integration rather than isolation. We love to train, compete and win, but above all we love to feel strong and healthy. Good movement connects you with your body and your environment. We can show you how if you only connect!

The OC team

Max: With a real passion for training and an inability to take himself seriously, Max's enthusiasm for exercise is infectious. Though boxing and running are his first loves, he is rarely without a kettlebell in his hand, ready to help you exceed your goals. An accredited ICE trainer and Pose Method coach, he has a wealth of training knowledge and competitive experience to draw on.

Harrison: Harry will be taking over some of the administrative aspects of OC Fitness. With his gym and martial arts background he will also bring fresh perspective to your training.

Sally: With her watchful eye and her drill sergeant demeanour, she is sure to bring a new level of intensity to the sessions. An accredited Pose Method running coach as well as a fierce competitor, she will inspire you to succeed.

Paul & Jason: Many of you have already trained with Paul and Jas. Our 'relief' trainers cover when we are away and bring their own flavour to the same OC philosophy. Tough but fun, they always deliver the goods.

We all look forward to sharing in the commitment, hard work, laughs and success as you move steadily towards your personal fitness goals. There is a Kiswahili rallying cry used when a group is pulling together as a team, the word means 'strength through unity'. Harambe!
